Support of MMA Research
In 2008 amd 2009, Angels for Alyssa raised over $60,000 for medical research for MMA. Beginning January 1, 2010, Angels for Alyssa assumed the administration of the MMA Research Fund. As administrator of the fund, we processed donations received globally as well as proceeds from various fundraising events held by several families and friends afflicted with MMA. Also at that time, Angels for Alyssa established a donor agreement with NIH. In 2010, Angels for Alyssa (doing business as the MMA Research Fund) sent $100,000 directly to NIH. This represented collective monies raised that year. We expect to significantly surpass this in 2011! We are making a difference!
